After several years of competing as a finalist in the Canadian Provincials, Jennifer competed on the European Pro Freestyle skiing circuit, winning the Italian Championships and placing second in the Swiss Championships. As a result of her skiing success, Jennifer went on to become a top skiwear fashion model and appeared as a stunt skier in a Sean Connery film. At the age of eighteen, she began designing her own skiwear. Several of her designs were commercially produced by the large skiwear manufacturer Powerhorn, her ski tour sponsor. Other sponsors included Olin and K2.
